Brier achieved this in 2006 at Fontana GC, and Wiesberger was successful at Diamond Country Club in 2012. Bernd Wiesberger: " I'm delighted that the Alpine Austrian Open presented by SalzburgerLand is once again a DP World Tour event taking place in Austria. It's always something very special to play at home, and I'm convinced that the Gut Altentann golf course will provide a fantastic venue. "

BIOGENA as new partner of the Austrian Alpine Open

BIOGENA SPORTS is a strong new partner. The company is not only the official sponsor of the tournament but also supports Bernd Wiesberger on his path to success.

The Austrian health brand BIOGENA, headquartered in Salzburg, develops, produces, and markets high-quality micronutrient products. Its focus is on products, biohacking, and services that help everyone achieve greater health and well-being and maximize their potential – thanks to constant innovations at the product and service level and scientifically sound formulations based on the "Made in Austria" pure substance principle.

The family-run company stands for exceptionally high product purity and quality and avoids unnecessary additives. Especially in sports, altered metabolic processes create an increased need for micronutrients, which often cannot be met through food. With ideal nutrition, the body can achieve peak performance and accomplish more than we think possible.

For more than five years, BIOGENA has collected extensive data from blood tests, intestinal checks, and urine samples from professional athletes. This data has helped identify specific micronutrient deficiencies and needs of athletes. Based on this knowledge, the SPORTS Line was created, which precisely meets the needs of athletes. Furthermore, the products are more than just high-performance: they are listed on the Cologne List, guaranteeing the highest purity and anti-doping compliance in sports.

Stefan Klinglmaier, COO BIOGENA: "At BIOGENA, holistic health is our focus. It's about recognizing your own needs and unlocking your full potential. Applying this philosophy to sports, maximum performance is paramount. It's about getting that last extra percent in a tournament, improving and optimizing performance, shortening recovery time, reducing the risk of injury, mental strength, and much more. If we can contribute those crucial percentage points for better performance, that's a great thing. We're thrilled to be a partner of this year's DP World Tour / Austrian Alpine Open and to be able to support it with our products and health offerings. Bringing such an event to our hometown of Salzburg is an absolute highlight, and therefore an ideal match for us with our headquarters in Salzburg."

The fact that the next top event, the Austrian Alpine Open, will be held here in just three months is a special honor for us as a venue and tourist destination. Visitors can look forward to a perfectly organized tournament at the end of May, but above all to the special atmosphere of the entire surrounding area, a unique venue with the GC Gut Altentann in close proximity to Salzburg's lakes and the historic old town, as well as the incomparable, warm hospitality of SalzburgerLand."
