The Austrian Alpine Open presented by SalzburgerLand returns to the renowned Gut Altentann golf course near Salzburg from May 29 to June 1 , promising a top-class golf event amidst the impressive Alpine scenery. A special highlight: Austria's golfing figurehead, Bernd Wiesberger, has confirmed his participation! The eight-time DP World Tour winner will tee off alongside SalzburgerLand ambassador Matthias Schwab in front of a home crowd, ensuring additional excitement on the championship course.

Wiesberger, along with Markus Brier, is the only Austrian to win on the DP World Tour in front of a home crowd. Brier achieved this in 2006 at Fontana GC, and Wiesberger was successful at Diamond Country Club in 2012.
