Nicolai von Dellingshausen has confirmed his participation in the 2026 Austrian Alpine Open in Kitzbühel. The German, who claimed his maiden victory on the DP World Tour in Altentann last year, is ready to defend his title.

At the Austrian Alpine Open 2025, Nicolai von Dellingshausen celebrated an impressive maiden victory on the DP World Tour. He fought a thrilling duel with his compatriot Marcel Schneider on Sunday in Altentann and ultimately clinched his first title with a two-stroke lead.

The triumph in Austria was the highlight of an outstanding season for the man from Düsseldorf, who made his return to the DP World Tour in 2024 via the HotelPlanner Tour.

Von Dellingshausen had his best season to date in 2025, achieving some impressive results in addition to his victory at the Austrian Alpine Open. With one tournament victory, several top-10 finishes, and consistently good performances throughout the year, the German secured a place in the DP World Tour Final and also put in a strong performance at the Tour Championship. Von Dellingshausen finished the season in 37th place in the Race to Dubai ranking and is one of the established top players on the DP World Tour this year.

This year, Nicolai von Dellingshausen's mission to defend his title at the Austrian Alpine Open takes him to Kitzbühel, to the Kitzbühel-Schwarzsee-Reith golf course. This new sporting challenge is the ideal setting to prove the consistency of the reigning champion in a strong field of competitors. Spectators can look forward to an exciting event and competition at the highest level.
