Casey Jarvis has confirmed his participation in the Austrian Alpine Open. The South African has already claimed two tournament victories this season—all within just seven days.

The 22-year-old Casey Jarvis is one of the rising stars of this year’s DP World Tour season. The young South African won the Magical Kenya Open at the end of February—his first DP World Tour title—and just seven days later, the Investec South African Open Championship in his home country. He almost even achieved the triple. The following week, he narrowly missed out on his third victory of the season, ultimately finishing “only” second at the Joburg Open.

Casey Jarvis is the only amateur in the history of golf to have won South Africa’s “Triple Crown”—the South African Amateur, the SA Amateur Stroke Play, and the African Amateur. At just 17 years old, he was named Men’s Player of the Year by amateurgolf.com.

In 2023, he set the record for the lowest round on the Sunshine Tour with a 59 at Dainfairn, finished seventh in the season standings, and was named Rookie of the Year for 2022/23.

Casey Jarvis likely has fond memories of Austria, as that is where he celebrated his first professional victory. In 2023, he won the Euram Bank Open on the European Challenge Tour (now the HotelPlanner Tour) at GC Adamstal.  After several more top finishes, he placed second in the Road to Mallorca overall rankings, thereby securing his playing privileges for the 2024 DP World Tour.

After two solid seasons on the Tour, he went on to win two tournaments in a row in 2026. This double victory earned him qualification for both this year’s Masters in Augusta and the Open Championship.

Golf fans in Austria can look forward to a young player who is among the Tour’s top performers this season.
